Founder, MusicLessons1on1

Master Guitar Certification, Berklee
TAMU Class ‘96

I founded MusicLessons1on1 out of a desire to do something meaningful and significant. I have found that by impacting and encouraging and inspiring new musicians, I was coaching people that would go on to impact and encourage and create even more musicians, who would then, in turn, do the same for others. This process continues into infinity, ultimately impacting people over and over again the course of several lifetimes. I think ALL teachers have this legacy, and I am gratefully for this opportunity and for the success we have shared with thousands of students over the past 2 decades here at MusicLessons1on1.

Offers lessons in Acoustic Guitar, Electric Guitar, Bass Guitar, Worship Training, Piano, Music Theory.

Alannah Violin

Alannah R.

Howdy! My name is Alannah Roberts and I have been a violinist for about 10 years. I picked up my very first violin in 4th grade which ignited a passion for music that has stuck with me ever since. I played throughout middle school and high school and became concertmaster of my highschool’s advanced Chamber Orchestra in my junior and senior year. As concertmaster, I was a mentor to many of the younger students in the Chamber Orchestra. I traveled with the orchestra to compete in festivals at places like Sonoma State University, Universal Studios Hollywood, Santa Monica, and more. I led a local quartet that performed at wineries, schools, elderly homes, and private events. I was also an academic tutor for 2 years working with students K-8 which taught me valuable skills for working with children. I believe everyone should pick up at least one type of musical instrument, as music is a universal language and a way to express yourself. My goal is to get students excited about learning the violin or piano and have fun while doing it!

Offers lessons in Violin and Piano.

My daughter is very young, and other teachers would not even consider teaching her.

Her teacher was not afraid and gives 100% even though it’s not always easy. Even at 3 my daughter now pays attention to rhythm at home.

Excellent teacher, excellent school.

“Music does not discriminate against age or one’s own perception of musical ability. You’re never too old or young to learn an instrument or sing. EVERYONE has musical potential, many simply need a good teacher to help them connect with this potential.”

My mom used to get so mad but all the drummers used to let me stay up there and even play. From then on I knew I wanted to be on a stage! I absolutely love it and hope to share my passion with others! I hope to teach and pass along my knowledge and my goal is to make better musicians than I am!
