I’m so glad I chose to bring my daughter here for bass guitar lessons. She took lessons with Greg (the owner) and he was so good about keeping it fun and interesting for her. He always worked with songs that she liked. He had her bring a playlist of songs they could learn together while also teaching fundamentals. He asked every week what she was struggling with so the lesson could focus on her needs and his main goal remained to have her not “need” lessons anymore. So thankful for Greg, his love of music really shows in his work.

We have had an incredible experience with Rob White at Music Lessons 1on1. He has worked with our son for over a year, and we can truly hear the difference in his voice. Not only has his vocal ability grown stronger and more controlled, but he has also developed his own unique style as an artist. Rob has gone beyond vocal coaching by offering guidance in songwriting and guitar composition, which has helped our son grow as a well-rounded musician. Most importantly, his confidence during performances has increased tremendously. Rob has been an amazing musical mentor, and we are so grateful for the positive impact he has had on our son’s growth as both a performer and a songwriter. We highly recommend him to anyone looking for a dedicated and inspiring vocal coach.

We couldn’t be happier with our experience at Music Lessons 1on1! We were previously at another studio in town and felt like they were just teaching our son to mimic and memorize instead of actually teaching him music skills to grow on. He takes drums with Mr. Brennan, who is amazing! Jack has grown so much musically and has also learned practical drum skills (changing a drum head, etc.) that will serve him well as he continues with music. Such a different experience than what we had previously and we are so thankful we found Music Lessons 1on1! We cannot recommend them and Mr. Brennan enough.

I started with Music Lessons 1on1 in person over the summer before moving to Tallahassee, where I continued my lessons via Zoom for about three months. I have nothing but positive things to say about the team there! Paige was ABSOLUTELY fantastic and made me, as an adult learner, feel comfortable, heard, and empowered. She was amazing with my transition to digital learning; I always looked forward to our Zoom lessons each week. The online portal they use helps solve a lot of the scheduling issues and it often gave me the ability to move around my own schedule with my instructor's availability. Overall, a great experience and I highly recommend them.

My son did lessons here for two years. Their teachers are wonderful; the office staff is responsive and friendly. The owner is super down to earth and friendly as well. Overall great experience for my son. Only stopping due to his interest level at this time.

After playing guitar off-and-on for nearly thirty years, I decided to take lessons to fill in some gaps, develop better technique, and reinvigorate my playing in general. I looked around at the local options in BCS and decided to give Music Lessons 1on1 a try -- I'm glad I did! In an initial meeting with Master guitar instructor Greg Nelson, we discussed experience level, goals and timeline, and what I was most interested in learning. I really appreciated that Greg was invested in developing an individualized plan that would meet my specific goals. After taking lessons for a few months, I can say that it is amazing how much gets fit into just 30 minutes. I leave each week feeling excited about what I'm working on and looking forward to going home to practice. Greg clearly has a deep knowledge of the guitar, but still makes it fun and accessible. These lessons are a highlight of my week every week. Highly recommend!

Music Lessons 1on1 is a FANTASTIC company and resource to learn and build upon one’s musical foundation. I have thoroughly enjoyed having John D. as my piano teacher and have learned so much from him. He has always been very (x3) patient, gives plenty of helpful memorization tips, and is super knowledgeable about literally everything (especially all things piano). Instructors and admin are super willing to work with your schedule which I really appreciate. I’m so glad I found this gem of a resource. :)

I've worked with both Aj Hoffman and Greg himself. Each for a month. I couldn't recommend this place more if I tried. Really great at diagnosing where you are and where you want to go. The lessons were really focused and I learned so much more in those two months than in two years by myself. Great rooms as well. Thank you Aj and Greg!

I highly recommend taking lessons from this company, they genuinely care about your progression and teach you meaningful coursework tailored to what YOU want to achieve. Greg and AJ have been my guitar instructors and they have brought me from absolute beginner to playing my favorite songs and writing my own music! After a year they harnessed me the tools and skills to now progress on my own. As someone who’s been involved in multiple other bands playing other instruments, they were able to take the knowledge I already knew and apply it to guitar playing while fixing gaps in my theory understanding. With a busy schedule from college, they also have been very flexible, with a convenient contract and website that allows easy cancellations and utilization. Lesson prices are one of the best compared to other places, especially for the amount you get from a single lesson. Once again I highly encourage you to support your local business and take lessons from these brilliant individuals that truly care about you and your progression in music education!!

I took guitar lessons from Greg. I was a self taught guitarist and had pickup may bad habits and lacked knowledge of music theory. Grey understood the type of music I want to play and created a customized lesson plan for me. He taught me the importance of playing in time and proper string muting techniques. Grey also demystified complex music theory concepts and showed practical applications for them. He was very patient with me and provided lots of positive encouragement. More importantly he gave me tools to keep learning and have fun with the instrument. Apart from music, Greg also educated me about gear and showed me how to do guitar setup myself. Their website is very convenient. I can message instructors, manage billing and appointments. Overall a very good experience and I am glad I got to learn from Greg

I have had a great experience with Music 101, the people there are fantastic and really want to see people succeed. My experience with Brennan as my teacher has been great, as an absolute beginner he made me feel like I was in the right place. Not only is Brennan a great teacher but also a great guy! Would recommend Music 101 to anyone who wants to learn music!

I have three girls enrolled in music lessons ages 5 to 12 years old, 2 in piano 1 in violin. We really had a great experience and the girls made great progress. I found the teachers to be very knowledgeable , very helpful and very kind. I would highly recommend music lessons 1 on 1 to anybody who loves music or just wants to learn. Sincerely Scott Dobrovolny

I highly recommend Music Lessons 1on1. I haven’t played drums in many years and looked at online lessons and online content platforms and other local options for in person lessons. I decided on 1on1 because lessons are in person and the facility is great. The instructor was able to connect to a nice sound system via Bluetooth to share music to listen to during the lesson. There were two different setups one for me and the instructor to play on. The price really isn’t bearable for the quality and time received. The instructor was very talented and a good communicator and was able to hear what I wanted to accomplish and customized a lesson path and practice routine to help me reach my goals. It was also inspiring to be around other musicians who were there to perfect their craft as well. Good location too. My family was able to drop me off for a lesson and visit a coffee shop while I was in my lesson. For all the above reasons I give 1on1 a strong 5 stars.

I worked with Greg directly , who is the owner and he was very understanding and wonderful to work withー as someone who has dreamt of playing guitar since I was a small child , his guidance and expertise was exactly what I needed to get my feet off the ground . I definitely recommend this company , they're really nice . Plus my lessons were online through Zoom since I'm out of state so it was a great adaptive experience .

If you are a band looking for a clean, air-conditioned, well-maintained, well-equipped rehearsal space do not miss this gem. Extremely accommodating and easy to work with and (in my opinion) reasonably priced. Perfect for a band looking to lock in before a run.

Our daughter has dramatically improved her skill with the cello since starting lessons with Natcha. She is dedicated, no-nonsense and knows what she is talking about. She is also a very talented teacher. We highly recommend Music Lessons 1on1!

The staff at Music Lessons are top notch. They truly care about their students and families. My son has some learning disabilities, and Greg found a way to teach him electric guitar. I wouldn't take my kids anywhere else. Truly a blessing to my family.

I’ve had the opportunity to be one of James’ students and have had the best experience with him. He has been so kind and patient; I am a beginner for reference, knew nothing about violins what’s so ever. He is very open to answering any questions I may have and pushed me to be better every lesson. I hope to continue learning with him.

This was the most wonderful experience ever! The app was amazing to use And provided a very easy way to schedule, change, or interact with my son’s teacher. I needed work done on a 20+ year old electric guitar that included new switches, pots, rerouting wiring new pickups and some TLC. I contacted One on One and got a return call from Greg Nelson promptly. I explained the project and could tell immediately Greg knew his stuff and was an experienced guitarist and musician. I met with Greg to drop off the guitar and he explained his entire process and answered all my questions. The turn around time was super fast and the price was very reasonable. The action was set up exactly like I wanted and the tone is fantastic. I couldn’t be happier with the results and will now take all my guitar work to Greg without hesitation. I highly recommend One on One!

The whole experience was amazing for my son who is nine and diagnosed with autism. Greg and John went out of their way to make sure he was accommodated and felt comfortable in the space. John had so much patience for my son and always redirected him, making it fun and exciting. It’s not easy always finding places that are inclusive for special needs kiddos, but this place is by far a 10 out of 10 for me and my family.

My 5 yr old son has been taking piano lessons from Mr. John for about 6 months and it has been a wonderful experience! John built rapport with us very quickly, keeps a great pace during each lesson, and holds consistent boundaries in a very kind and caring manner. Having a young man who is passionate about music (and a solid role model) teaching our son has been the absolute best fit for us. We were aware that starting so young might be difficult, but John has helped our son grow SO much in his confidence and understanding of the piano and music theory. We have seen a big jump in perseverance and determination across the board, too. My son truly hangs on every word John says! Greg, the owner, has also been so great to work with. He wants kids to love music and has a lot of insight on how to help parents foster that interest. Highly recommend Music Lessons 1on1 for any instrument! We will never go anywhere else.

We have had such a wonderful experience with drum lessons here! The facility is fantastic, and you can really tell that they care about providing a positive, encouraging environment for their students. Brennan has been absolutely wonderful. He is patient, encouraging, knowledgeable, and does such a great job making lessons fun while still helping students grow and improve. You can tell that he genuinely cares about his students and wants to see them succeed. Cade has also been amazing! He has been so encouraging and supportive, and we have been so impressed with the way he connects with students and helps build their confidence and skills. Both Brennan and Cade have made such a positive impression on us. We are so thankful we found this facility and these instructors. The combination of great instruction, encouragement, and a welcoming atmosphere makes this a wonderful place for kids to learn music. We highly recommend them to anyone looking for quality drum lessons!

My Daughter has been going here for some time. The teachers are very nice and flexible with schedules. My daughter always has a fun time during the lessons. I highly recommend this play if your child is interested in learning a musical instrument.

I had a great experience with 1on1 music. Greg was very easy to work with and my instructor John was very experienced and helpful. He was a great teacher and really focused on the music theory and my areas of weakness.

My daughter is very young, and other teachers would not even consider teaching her. Camille was not afraid and gives 100% even though it's not always easy. Even at 3 my daughter now pays attention to rhythm at home. Excellent teacher, excellent school.
